It is unprocessed, meaningless. This is called data.

Processed data is called information.
It gives little knowledge about something.
It gives complete knowledge of something.
We cannot use it directly.
It is directly usable.

A database is a collection of data in a structured way. The database is built with data and a base. The use of a database has become essential now. Student’s information’s in government education, banking, hospital management, companies use a database for saving all the information.
We can define a database like this,
The collection of interrelated data tables or files is called a database.
