Very confusing….
It is unprocessed, meaningless. This is called data.
Know about the types of data and equipment.
Data definition
Data are some facts that are meaningless and unprocessed. Now, from the picture, if we collect all the data and present then in a table form then we get-
Personal-Info
Roll | Name | Gender | GPA | Age |
19 | Rahman | Male | 3.63 | 23 |
20 | Ahmed | male | 3.17 | 22 |
Here this data will be called information because it has meaning. It is processed.
So, we can explain it like this,
Unprocessed/ meaningless facts | Data | Processed and meaningful data |
Data | After processing | Information |
Difference between data and information
Data | Information |
Some facts are meaningless/not processed. | Processed data is called information. |
It gives little knowledge about something. | It gives complete knowledge of something. |
We cannot use it directly. | It is directly usable. |
Example: Figure-1. | Example: Given Personal-Info table. |

Data abstraction
Basically, there are 3 levels of data abstraction
One part is for the user view. Here are the data which are view by the user. Another one is the logic applied level. It is meaning the data type, fields, and attributes, etc. And the final one is the physical level.
We have to learn a database for becoming a web developer, android development/mobile application development, for controlling a database system for a company, etc. We have to learn how to create a database, how to store data, how to delete data, how to update data, and how to delete the whole database, and also many operations.
