When you are going to land on initially when you come to your Google Analytics account is the home area.

You can switch between accounts by going up to all website data. If you click on that you can switch between all of your accounts.

Also, you can choose the website that you want to analyze further. So what you are going to see when you are at the home is an overview of all of your statistics I am going to discuss shortly.

If you go to the home section of the Google Analytics you will find the list of your added properties. You can specifically select anyone from those properties and can see different data.

  • Bounce rate
  • Session duration
  • Active users right now

You can see the details of the audience by clicking on the Audience Overview.
In the audience overview section if you see 

  • The number of users
  • The number of new users
  • Sessions
  • The number of sessions per user
  • Pageviews
  • Pages / Session
  • Average session duration
  • Bounce Rate

There below you will be able to see 

  • The Country and City from Demographics
  • Languages
  • Viewers systems like browser, operating system, service provider
  • The mobile operating system, Service provider, and Screen Resolution

How do you acquire users?


Below Google analytics home you will find a section "How do you acquire users?". From there you will be able to acquire the visitors based on the traffic Channel, Sources/ Mediums, Referrals on your website. 

You will find more detailed data in Acquisition Report. 

From the primary dimension option, you can select Top Channels, Top sources/mediums, Top sources, Top mediums. And based on these you can see these data.
